S̺u̽cha Lûchyo was founded durring the late 16th century in winter of the year 1464, by Paivnirth Shêyë. The establishment of S̺u̽cha Lûchyo was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Paivnirth Shêyë electing to pay people to resettle in S̺u̽cha Lûchyo.

S̺u̽cha Lûchyo was built using the conventions of Wareneese durring the late 16th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and S̺u̽cha Lûchyo is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

S̺u̽cha Lûchyo is buildings folow an organic layout of spacious baked earthen streets whihch gives the town a shape simmilar to a tree, if one views its streets from above. The town lacks any defencive features, though certainly constructing even a simple fence or digging a ditch is at the forefront of the 's mind. At least, one would hope so.

The town shows nothing out of the ordinary, at first glance. Then you start to notice all the small things. Each window has seven iron nails pounded into the sill. Every door has a sprig of holly overhead. Every well is branded with purity seals and runes to ward the contents. Everyone is carrying a small charm for safety or fortune, be it a rabbit’s foot, a horseshoe, or other little totems.

Cultural Notes

There’s more than one leader in S̺u̽cha Lûchyo, but at least some of them are at each other’s throats. It might be a conflict between formal leadership and informal authorities, or it could be a struggle among civil officials. Their interests might diverge sharply, or it could be a personal grudge that’s boiled over. Outside threats and internal problems are likely being ignored until the power struggle is resolved.

S̺u̽cha Lûchyo's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known primarily for its use of abstraction and simplicity. Clean lines, right angles, and primary colors characterized this aesthetic and art movement expressed via architecture and paintings. Its design ethos allows only primary colors and non-colors, only squares and rectangles, only straight and horizontal or vertical lines. Vertical and horizontal lines are positioned in layers or planes that do not intersect, thereby allowing each element to exist independently and unobstructed by other elements. These seemingly impossible principals for an architectural style coalesces into structures which most experts find hard to put into words. It is not that their geometry is impossible, but rather the style's attempt at producing works only describable visually was most successful..

In S̺u̽cha Lûchyo every night at precisely midnight every structure in town is engulfed by sailors fire until the end of the witching hour.

S̺u̽cha Lûchyo's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in summer and involves bloodletting to channel Chronomancy energies of tier 2 via chanting.
